No matter how hard I tried

I could not make a sausage roll

Recipes came and  recipes went with no success

Until my sister sissy sissy sissy had an idea

That was to write a long fan letter

To Pierre of the Ambiguities

This I did and he replied within a week

He suggested that I meet him in Oslo

And later in Bremen where we purchased

Sausages from eighteen countries red and green

He took me to the top of a black blue hill

Where we cooked these international sausages

Until they were ready for their flaky coats

Then to my immediate surprise he released

All but two of the blue black sausages

And from that great day forward

I knew how to make a sausage roll
