Three Studies of Isabel Rawsthorne

I have a copy of Francis Bacon’s

Three Studies of Isabel Rawsthorne (on white ground)

On the wall of my flat in South Kensington

It is a triptych painted in 1965

I rather like the artists work but have purchased only this copy

It suits the plain walls of my lounge which overlooks the street below

The sitter reminds me of my friend Olive who now teaches in Australia

My daughter recently visited Southwold and purchased a tee shirt for me

Which features an artists paint pot filled with purple brushes

I often wear it when I am shopping as it goes with my black jeans

It is sometimes commented on by my friends in the local coffee shop

My name is Outlaw and I am currently visiting Olive’s sister Lima in Peru
