Milly – Where are we ?

 

Mike – We are on a beach

 

Milly – Where is this beach ?

 

Mike – I do not know I just drove towards this beach following the road signs

 

Milly – Has the world ended

 

Milly – The girl in the diner told me that the world had ended

 

Mike  – She was correct

 

Milly – It was no very loud was it ?

 

Mike – The world ended at midnight

 

Milly – I was asleep in the car why did you not wake me

 

Mike – Because there was nothing to see

 

Milly – So the world just stopped without any fuss

 

Mike – Yes

 

Milly – What are our plans ?

 

Mike – We have no plans

 

Milly – No plans

 

Mike  – We will be stuck here for the rest of eternity so what use are plans

 

Milly – So are you saying that we are dead

 

Mike – Do we look dead ?

 

Milly – No

 

Mike – Then we are not dead

 

Milly – I might go for a swim do you want to join me

 

Mike – No not on this occasion

 

Milly – You always look after me in the sea

 

Mike – There is no need as you cannot drown

 

Milly – I bet I could if I put my head in the sea

Milly – Is this what the end of the world looks like

 

Mike – Yes

 

Milly – It is all rather beautiful the sea is calm and I adore the blush sun
