Garage Attendant – There is no shop

 

The Girl from the Diner – How come all gas stations have a shop ?

 

Garage Attendant – This is not as gas station

 

The Girl from the Diner– Well it sure looks like a gas station

 

The Girl from the Diner– If this is not a gas station then what is it ?

 

Garage Attendant – This is a beach side bar

 

The Girl from the Diner – That is rather odd as we are over one hundred miles from the sea

 

Garage Attendant – Not all beach side bars are near the sea mam

 

Garage Attendant – Would you like to sit in one of these beach chairs ?

 

The Girl from the Diner – Are you trying to chat me up ?

 

Garage Attendant – Why would I want to do that ?

 

The Girl from the Diner – Most guys do but they are more interested in my breasts that me

 

The Girl from the Diner – Do you think I have nice breasts they are are perfectly natural no plastic or any of that shit

 

Garage Attendant – I do not really have an opinion

The Girl from the Diner – I thought something was going on as the radio started going all crazy

 

The Girl from the Diner – I was only saying this to a tall blonde girl who stopped for a burger

 

Garage Attendant – Milly

Garage Attendant – Yes her name was Milly

 

The Girl from the Diner – How did you know that ?

 

Garage Attendant – Because they stopped here for gas

 

The Girl from the Diner – This end of the world thing will be bad for your business

 

Garage Attendant – I know they were my final customers

 

The Girl from the Diner – What about me ?

 

Garage Attendant – You are not my customer

 

The Girl from the Diner – Sure am

 

Garage Attendant – No you just crossed the highway on foot you did not drive

 

The Girl from the Diner – Does that make a difference ?

 

Garage Attendant – Yes as you will be here for eternity

 

The Girl from the Diner – What here in this dump

 

Garage Attendant – I am afraid so

 

The Girl from the Diner – I left some coffee on the stove so I will just wander back I was not that hungry anyway

 

Garage Attendant – There is no coffee and there is no stove

 

Garage Attendant – Like it or not you will remain here for eternity

 

The Girl from the Diner – I can see my diner from here

 

Garage Attendant – That is just a memory you will have to get used to that

 

The Girl from the Diner – A memory look I can see Al and his wife

 

Garage Attendant – These are only memories

 

The Girl from the Diner – This is getting spooky

 

The Garage Attendant leaves the stage

 

The Girl from the Diner (shouting) – Hey you whatever your name is don’t leave me alone

 

The Garage Attendant (off stage) – What is your name ?

 

The Girl from the Diner – Martibelle

 

The Garage Attendant (off stage) – Well Martibelle there is a fresh pot of coffee waiting for you in the main office

Mike – This Gas Station is highly illuminated and it can be seen for miles

 

Garage Attendant – This is not a gas station sir

 

Mike – Then why is it it illuminated so brightly ?

 

 

At this moment the stage is plunged into complete darkness

 

Mike – Milly are you okay

 

Milly – Yes perfectly okay

 

Garage Attendant – The revolution has started sir and if I was you I would make yourself scarce

 

 

The stage lights although dull return –  Mike and Milly have left the stage –  The garage attendant is sweeping the forecourt with an old broom
