I had missed the last bus
There were no trains today
I was trapped in a winter city
It was very dark gark
I found a midnight cafe
Which had many mirrored walls
But I could not see my forward reflections
Only the back of my ridiculous head
This disorientated me greatly
As I watched the steam trains
Emerge from the disused fireplaces
A tall man sat at my lonely table
He purchased a pink coffee for me
As an act of friendship
And introduced himself as Mr James
