This is the first time that I have visited the Highlands

I have been commissioned to write poetry about inhibitions

And to catch midges in jars and execute them

Without trial or any form of legal representation

Another task is to count the loch ferries

That cross in front of me at treetop height

As I walk along the low Highland paths
