What language does God use or understand

That was a question that bothered me

When I was a child

Having been brought

Up in Northern India

I was very aware

Of the subtle differences of language

I had always said my prayers in English

But knew that my Chinese friend did not

When I asked my late father

He told me that there was no God

And that I should not worry myself
