I live in a small castle without a moat

Yet it is surrounded by magnolia trees

I cannot describe how beautiful

These fragrant trees are

They are so feminine

So delicate to the touch

Violets Bluebells Snowdrops and Roses

Add much to the harmony of my gardens

But it is the magnolia trees

That remain in my memory

Long after the cool winds have faded
