In May 1962 the Aurora disappeared in the English Channel

It was owned by Michael and Katie Block

Despite extensive searches no traces of the yacht

Or its occupants were ever found and they were presumed lost

In April 2023 the Aurora was found on the Goodwin Sands

She was in pristine condition and happily Michael and Katherine

Were found on board safe and well after being missing for sixty-one years

The had not aged and were surprised when they were informed of their disappearance

It seemed that they thought that they had only been at sea for just over a day

They were medically examined in hospital and found to be well

The couple refused other tests as they found them to be intrusive

Because of the sensitive nature of this story there was a press blackout

Although Katie’s sister Viola later leaked the story to the newspapers

We are all time travellers and should not be ashamed of this

She was quoted as saying before she too vanished without trace
