Since I moved to the coast

I have started collecting sea glass

It is a mysterious pastime

As one does not know

What one might find

I was in Margate yesterday

Not far from the Eliot shelter

As due to the tides sea glass

Is easily found in this location

I commonly find clear and brown glass

Occasionally green but blue is quite rare

Red sea glass is the ultimate find

Which confuses collectors

Yet the reason is quite obvious to me

As not many disposables are glass red

Glass collectors unknowingly

Provide a valuable service

As glass on beaches

Is not that amusing

It is hazardous

That is all I have to say
