The still of our night
Was suddenly broken
By the sound of Klezmer Music
Echoing through the Alpine valleys
My wife and I rose from our beds
And danced lightly on the wooden floors
Our night white shirts white in the tight moonlight
The duality of our steps although rapid
Created no disturbance
And the dust of the passing years soon settled
