Return to Dartmouth

I waved to Jane as I sailed into the town

It seemed that I had been away on a long voyage

And not just a visit to the opposite bank of the estuary

Jane was playing chess with the seagulls

And did not notice me at first

I waved again which gathered her attention

She leaned against the promenade railings

And blew me sixty-four kisses

One for each minute that I had been away
