The Buses That Ate Dover

Janice and I were on the way to Dover

When our train was stopped at Ashford International

We were told that the train would not continue its journey

As the buses had eaten Dover it was no more nothing was left

There was just a huge hole where the town had been

The same applied to the cross channel ferries

As there was nowhere for them to dock safely

I rang the Kent Council and they explained that carnivorous buses

Had been ordered in error including the deadly route 86

This had already happened in Southport and Southwold

But the information had not been properly shared

We were all warned to watch out for routes 6 and 66

Which were last seen in Skipton and Leeds

The Bus Wars long promised had now started

And I did not expect to survive
