Ammonites were marine animals belonging to the phylum Mollusca and the class Cephalopoda. They had a coiled external shell similar to that of the modern nautilus. In other living cephalopods, e.g. octopus, squid and cuttlefish, the shells are small and internal, or absent.
I was in a museum shop
Looking at some pieces
Of polished Jet
When by chance I found
A Full Ammonite
Hidden in an assorted tray
I reached for my phone
As I knew little
(the detail is above)
It was then that I realised
That the assistant
Was looking up my skirt
I was not wearing anything underneath
As the day was hot
I enjoyed the invasion
And it worked to my advantage
As Fiona charged me just for the stone
And gifted the ammonite
She asked me to dinner without hesitation
I accepted and we spend happy hours together
