I have met the most wonderful girl

Her name is Caroline

We are deeply in love

Which is a small village

In North Devon

At present Caro is sleeping

Next to me

I so enjoy these holidays


On the wall

Opposite our bed

There is a photograph

Of the local railway station

How idyllic it is

Mr Bannisters green van

Has just crossed the line

And the bus to Sandy Sands

Waits for the passengers

From the branch line train

It might have been taken years ago

But was shot in late June
