Ships at anchor on Christmas Day
Two ships lie at anchor in the bay
One is red and the other is black
I cannot see the crew of either ship
But I know that they are watching me
Ships in Shallow Waters
Two ships rest in the shallow waters
Safe from the channel storms
Their crews are celebrating the birth of Christ
And thinking of their homes far away
Into the Light
On the horizon a ship is sailing
Into a plume of light
I know that I will not see its return
