The Horse and Angel Poem

After the fire

Only the urn remained

Stained

It had held the tender ashes

Of a pink angel

Who had been expelled

From her gentle world

For her coloured crimes

She had hit the ground

With too much force

And had been trampled to death

By a startled horse
