In the town of Elementary all the trains run backwards through the station

This annoys a lot of people but I have grown used to it

They run forwards for only a minute each day

From twenty-two minutes past seven to twenty-three minutes past seven

The station clock has always run in reverse

And today is recording the time of a day ninety-four years absent

I am currently on the platform waiting for a train that left twenty-two minutes ago

As I am due to play in a baseball game in Daisy Square
