I have an unusual hobby which might be considered dangerous

It involves jumping out of a plane at five thousand feet without a parachute

With at least five items of crockery

This must be done over vast food producing fields

Although the fall is enjoyable it passes very quickly

So I try to enjoy it as much as I can

The landing is my secret and I land almost as if I am landing on a cushion

Never in all my jumps have I ever hurt myself or experienced pain

My favorite fields are the green vegetable fields as I can spot my crockery with ease

Wheat fields can be a tad more challenging as my ceramics are often hidden

Sometimes I find that an entrepreneur has built a store on his land

So that he may sell his produce directly to the public

This makes life a little bit more difficult for me as my crockery can land on the building or buildings

I enjoy this challenge as after requesting permission I climb on to the roof of these buildings

As of this week I have never lost any of my friends although a teapot did get stuck on a flagpole last year

This took me a few hours to retrieve as I did not want to damage the maple flag

From October to March I do not make these jumps as the visibility is often poor

And during this periods the fields are normally fallow or covered in snow

Next year I hope to make a jump with six of eighteenth century cups and four saucers

Which were retrieved from a shipwreck off of the coast of Siam
