I first met Annie Agatha in an old bookshop
She greeted me and that was it
Jones the owner said that he had met her
In the street outside when she asked him for a job
Annie Agatha had a shock of black hair
But was ordinary to look at and slightly plump
She lived above the shop
But was so quiet
That it appeared that she was not there
In January she read some Hungarian Folk Tales
In front of an audience at the local radio station
That was her fifteen minutes of fame
Sadly the bookshop closed in August
As Jones had decided to retire early
Annie Agatha stayed until the final day
And left the town soon afterwards
She has not been in contact with Jones since then
Which I find a little strange as they had grown rather close
