My sister and I are situated only about a mile apart

We were designed by the same architect during the inter-war years

At first our architecture was much admired as it was so special

Yet we were later neglected by the beasts in the field

However our designs are now cherished

By the people who see clearly and really care

But of late we have become quite tainted

By the troubled sewers and polluted waters

That now contaminate the very fibres of our modern history
