This may sound incredible

But there is ship on my doorstep

I can see it clearly from my upper windows

About once an hour I wave to the crew

But they do acknowledge me

Which is a little sad

As we will be sleeping together

Throughout the long night

In mid December 2020 a couple of ships anchored in the sea near Walmer in Kent 
Their lights could be clearly seen from the shore and this caused a degree of excitement
