Angels often circle the winter sun

They are quite easy to spot

As long as you know where to look

 

Angels 

My wife and I fed the starving seagulls today

On a freezing beach not far from our home

Whilst doing this we noticed that the thin angels

Were struggling for food as they drifted nearby

 

Angels

In a matter of a few weeks

This beach will nourish all creatures

And we will cease our twice daily visits

But before we do so we will release

The remaining beach angels

That we once sheltered from the icy winds
