The beach was so wide today
And it was made to look flatter
By the shy slight solemn sun
A branch of a common tree
Had been planted in the sloping sands
I touched it and knew its hard history
It had not travelled by sea
As it was quite dry land dry land dry
I was by then flash floating
Eye third eye third eye third eye
