Beauty Follows Infinity

Is the name of our house

Which overlooks the beach at St Margaret’s Bay

We have lived here for twenty-eight years

I own the Green Mint Room

Whilst Ray owns the Rouge Red Room

Each of our rooms have unobstructed sea views

And we can often see France on Clear Silver Days

I am writing a book of coastal poems which I will call

In Praise of Invisible Cities after my sister Alice

Who no longer lives at home
