The quickest way to my home in the suburbs

Is to walk along Lexicon Avenue

This walk gives me an immense amount of pleasure

As at this time of year the trees turn purple

 

Late Summer Flowers

I returned from a coastal market

With my arms full of local flowers

You placed the blue flowers in a rainbow jug

And the rainbow flowers in a blue cream jug

These were our late summer flowers
