Of late I have begun to experiment

With an ancient camera

That I found at a church jumble sale

I must say that I am pleased with the results

As they seem to be rather fine

And not from an amateur lens

People have said that I have a special eye

For the light and its relationship with the sea

They may have a point but who I am eye to decide

The only downside is that I have now been asked

To write a poem about this new found talent

And for first time in my tender life

I do not know quite where to start
