A Cop a Girl and a Gun

The girl in the yellow dress

Was jealous of the sun

So she had it arrested

On a charge of voyeurism

The hunky cop

Who attended the crime scene

Told her to get dressed

As the sun had friends in high places

 

Geese Watching Trains  

Three geese watched my train pass today

The other twenty-five

Ignored my passage

 

Rachel Weeping

Rachel was standing

In the shadows weeping quietly

She was wearing

A yellow sweater

A fawn skirt

White ankle socks

And brown leather shoes

I did not know why she was weeping

So I  ignored her distress
