We have found your book Geoffrey

It is in bad shape

As one might expect

And the drying of the pages

Has caused me much occupation

It was found under a pile of slate

By a myrtle and a bee

Near the grand avenue of cards

Evelyn is posting the recovered book to you

She thanks you for the strawberry jam

I must close now

As I am walking again

And the day threatens rain
