In the foothills of the mountains Zorro was hiding out in an abandoned shack

He had been wounded in the last skirmish and had applied cactus juice to his wounds

But they were taking longer to heal as he was getting older

He was now facing organised gangs

They were armed with guns

Zorro as always only used his swords

The Much K gang had kidnapped his beloved Esmeralda

He had tried to rescue her once but they had hidden her well

Many had died in trying to stop Zorro

But his attempt was empty

It had been many years since he had descended from the mountains

And he knew that he would return shortly

But first he had to rescue Esmeralda

He might experience much pain during his mission

But he knew that his happiness would seem deeper and more intense when she was once again in his burning arms

He would return her to her father so that she might live a long and fruitful life before joining him once again in the over world

Time was running out

And because of this he bandaged his wounds

Soon he would be riding towards the hacienda where he thought she might be

He had begun his final journey
