Meet Me Once in Bloomingdale’s

Meet me once in Bloomingdale’s

Meet me near the pier

Touch my hand in Central Park

Let me know you’re near

Think of me when travelling

Think of me asleep

Touch my passport photograph

My world is yours to reap

Forget me now my silent love

Forget my thoughts and deeds

Just think of me occasionally

And touch my heart that bleeds

Suggestion from the Author – Read this poem after listening to Leonard Cohen’s Dance Me to the End of Love
