My wife and I had been on holiday for nearly a week

And had spent our time exploring the island

We were staying in a villa with a rather large wet room

Which as most welcome after exhausting days in the sun

However this morning whilst enjoying breakfast

We received a knock at the door and were surprised to see our neighbour

She was clad only in a towel and asked to use our shower

As hers had developed severe pressure problems

I offered to leave the table as the wet room was open

To the rest of the villa in an effort to combat problems with condensation

My offer was refused and the woman removed her towel without modesty

I inhibited my gaze and began to wash the dishes in the stainless steel sink

It was as I was coming to the end of my occupation

That I realised that I was being addressed by both women

I turned and found that my wife had joined our neighbour in the wet room

They were asking my views on hair colour and natural female complexions

I conceded that I did not know much but thought it aesthetically pleasing

If both the pubic regions and those normally visible were similar in colour

My wife was blond and her body hair differed little but our neighbour was quite grey

Yet her pubic bush betrayed the darker shades of her younger years

The following day I found a multi coloured towel on our terrace

It was a gift to me for my valuable fashion tips which had proved very useful

But my happiness was short lived as the towel was carried into the sea

By a freak gust of wind whilst we were sunbathing on the main town beach

I tried to retrieve it but it was carried out by a riptide and was quickly lost

When I next saw my neighbour showering I noted that she had coordinated her hair

Which suited her as her features were still quite youthful and gracefully calm

I then told her about the loss and she confessed that she had suffered a similar loss previously
