Surprisingly in these more puritantical times there is a great call for these novels

But in conclusion the answer remains the same

And already the impure creatures are suffering greatly

For Paris is a city of vampires who are quite loyal to people such as myself

They dispatch the correct quietly with the minimum of fuss

And are quite mysterious leaving the authorities clueless

In time this disease will fade and a kind of normality will return

The vampires will then fade again into their dreamless dreams

Until they are required once more to purify this lovely city
