Alice and I have just returned from a long hot walk in nearby hills

We are sweaty and require a cool shower

However the shower in the farmhouse is fucked

As we are experiencing supply problems once again

There is a shower on the blindside of the garden

But there are obstacles to overcome

 

The shower was originally constructed for the farmworkers and is quite sparse

It is very small and has only room for one person

The shower head is very dirty

And there are sanitary concerns

As the water for this shower is sourced from the main spring which is very cold

The modesty of the person showering might also be compromised

For it has only the thinnest of screens which falls apart at the lightest touch

There is a busy road nearby and I am concerned that our nudity might caused an accident

 

This meagre list clarifies little apart from the obvious

But I thought I would include it

As I am of a Spanish descent

And have lived in this area for over six years
