It has been a wild night

With pulses of heavy rain

Thrashing the already tired tree tip tops

But the main feature of this stormy weather

Have been the strong winds

Which have gusted in excess of sixty miles per hour

But this has not deterred the local squirrels

Who as I write are feeding on my drenched bird table

Under the strange orange light of the mad morning sky
