I am sitting in a railway carriage
A woman heavy with child is sitting by the window
She asks if she may swop seats as the sun is hot
I agree without hesitation and ventilate the carriage further
The woman alights from the train at the next station
I know that I will never see the woman or her unborn child again
But am aware that her daughter will become the president of our small country
And will introduce laws and reforms that will produce much economic stability
