Under her rough skin she still retains a fragile beauty
This cannot be seen by those who refuse to open their eyes
I often walk the towns streets at night in search of her mysteries
But am usually disappointed to find that many of these have faded with age
Her coarseness quite often shadows the brightness
That only those who ignore their dreams can see without opposition
