Sailors Without Grace

I am sunbathing on a beach

There is a handsome ship on the horizon

I can see its sailors on the deck

But they cannot see me

And because of this I feel a sense of power

I would like to think that if these beautiful sailors

Could see me then they would desire me

I feel sad for these lonely sailors

 

Captain Pugwash

I was given a Captain Pugwash soft toy

On a recent visit to fast food franchise

To be truthful the gift surprised me

As i do not collect sailors

So I gave it to a passing child
