I was followed home by a rare rainbow today

Which was totally ignored by many in the town

I say rare as it was almost hidden in a thick grey cloud mass

And seemed lower to the ground because of this geography

The rainbow I felt was almost a ghost unsure of its own existence

But I admired its subtle beauty and photographed its memory as it faded
