On the first day in the Spanish city Holland Park visited the naturist beach where he had agreed to meet his boyfriend Notting Hill

To pass the time he was reading The Princes and Perfumes of Persia and was watching the bronzed bodies at play around him

They reminded him of the mighty Moors hat had once ruled great areas of Spain

After about an hour his boyfriend sat down near him and kissed him on the cheek

But he was not alone as he had brought the female flutist from the orchestra whose name was Shepherds Bush

The trio spent the rest of the morning on the beach until the sun was too hot and then after dressing retired to a city bar

Both Notting Hill and Shepherds Bush were due to be involved in a concert of classical guitar music that evening in the Hall of the Seven Seas

The showpiece was the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo which was always popular

In the bar the radio was playing Music was my Sister Bitch the new song from the punk group Fuck Me Raw

Although the lyrics were slightly banal the music had an energy to it

This turned Holland Park on and he whispered into his boyfriend’s ear suggesting a liaison in his hotel room

Just for fun

And the flutist could join in if she so desired

And that was how they spent the afternoon in a sweaty room on the sixth floor of a city hotel which had extensive views of the Sagrada Familia  on its left hand side
