None But The Frozen

We are slowly becoming part of the landscape

I said as we sat under the pale blue gazebo

But you did not answer me -it was as if you were transfixed

But the ever changing shades of the desert light

We should leave quite soon Esther Collencinni

As the deserts can freeze at night

It is a possibility

Everything is a possibility

My wife then stood up with a beaming smile on her face

How beautiful she looked against the bleak desert rocks

None but the frozen would survive my love

If this world of ours ended right now
