It had been nearly a year

Since I last attended a live football match

Illness and pestilence had put pay to this pleasure

So you can imagine my excitement

When the game returned to my life

But alas it was not to be as storm appeared and flooded the pitch

Leaving only the gulls and the other sea birds happy
