Marks & Spencer

I am sitting by the fluid traffic lights

In an easy chair that has seen better days

I am wearing a small blue jacket and a red top

And a pair of Marks & Spencer supersize knickers

As I am very proud of my long tanned legs

Nobody has spoken to me today

Apart from a chap in a smart black suit

Who noted rather shyly that Marks & Spencer knickers

Are more compatible to the stresses and strains

Of living happily in large and anonymous cities
