I am currently walking the full length of Japan

It is a distance of 1869 miles

I have a death poem

Written by Kuroki Hiroshi in my top pocket

On Tuesday the 7th of September 2021

I will celebrate Kuroki’s anniversary

By resting for a day and studying the beauty of the flowers

I have so far walked just over 600 miles

By the turn of the year I hope to have reached 1000 miles

If this is true then I should complete my Japanese journey

Sometime in the later months of 2022
