An audience whether one or a thousand

Is the final part of the process

Of writing poetry

I am not sure who reads my poetry

And pretend not to care

But I like to see my words in peoples eyes

And on their lips and in their thoughts

That is possibly an arrogant attitude

But do I fucking care

I think I do
