She has lived there all her life and works in a draper’s shop in the main street

Annie is a good Catholic girl who never misses Mass

 

Mark Crosses has lived in Folkestone for many years

He runs a fish and ship shop near Sunny Sands

But does not attend Mass as he is quite busy on Sunday

 

Evangeline Crosses lives in Sandwich with her two children

She is a seamstress in her spare time

And embroiders hassocks for her adored church

 

Ned Crosses lives in Kingsdown with his younger mistress

He has been ostracised by his immediate family
