Quite often when I am working

I watch webcams from around the world

From cities to beaches from mountains to valleys

One of my favourites is a beach bar in the Seychelles

The cam is focused on a couple of tables

Half revealed in a complex of palm trees

Yesterday I watched as a group of Germans

Four men and a blonde woman as tall

Enjoyed a simple dry meal and soft drinks with ice

The woman then without warning raised her arm

As the sun was directly overhead and white raw

The small party then moved to a cooler table without much fuss

It was as they were doing this that a passing express

Let out a warning howl as there was a cat on the line

Thankfully the dozy creature escaped with a moment to spare

And peace returned to the cutting above the line

My German friends were totally unaware of this feline alarm

As were the passengers and driver of the royal blue express
