As time fascinates us both

Today in the 20th of June

Tomorrow is the longest day

The year is half/half spent

On our wooden table we have

A silver and abalone date piece

Which is in the shape of Australia

And inlaid with silver and red abalone

We often watch it as it drifts in time

Unaware of its own simple mathematics
