As we live quite close to The Zetland Arms in Kingsdown we consider it our local if such an animal exists.

However we did notice a couple of errors on page six of the What’s On supplement in this week’s paper.

Firstly Kingsdown is nearer to Walmer than it is to Deal by a good mile and a bit.

And secondly the photograph showing The Zetland Arms has been altered to suggest that the pebbled beach stretches right up to the patio.

This is not the case as there is a small car park directly in front of the Zetland and some rather nice beach tables beyond.

The Zetland Arms is a great place to visit and serves excellent food and a great selection of drinks.

Its location right on the beach is just lovely as is the village of Kingsdown itself.

We thought that would just put this right as we do not want to confuse our visitors from further afield.
