Milly – Where are we ?

 

Mike – We have stopped at a garage

 

Milly – I can see that

 

Garage Attendant enters

 

Mike – Would you fill her up

 

Garage Attendant – I cannot do that

 

Mike – Why ?

 

Garage Attendant – Because this is not a garage

 

Milly – It certainly looks like a garage

 

Mike – If this is not a garage then what is it ?

 

Garage Attendant – This is a beach side bar

 

Mike – That is rather odd as we are over one hundred miles from the sea

 

Garage Attendant – Not all beach side bars are near the sea sir

 

Milly – He does have a point Mike

 

Mike – Whatever do you mean

 

Milly – I will stay silent but there is a reason for this

 

Garage Attendant – Would you and your wife

 

Milly – I am not his wife I am his mistress

 

Garage Attendant – Would you and your

 

Milly – My name is Milly

 

Garage Attendant – Would you like to sit in one of these beach chairs Milly ?

 

Mike – This Gas Station is highly illuminated and it can be seen for miles

 

Garage Attendant – This is not a gas station sir

 

Mike – Then why is it it illuminated so brightly ?

 

 

At this moment the stage is plunged into complete darkness

 

Mike – Milly are you okay

 

Milly – Yes perfectly okay

 

Garage Attendant – The revolution has started sir and if I was you I would make yourself scarce

 

 

The stage lights although dull return –  Mike and Milly have left the stage –  The garage attendant is sweeping the forecourt with an old broom
